Patronscan

Patronscan is an American company that some night clubs require all visitors to have their ID scanned by, which is then uploaded into a shared database. It also captures your photo and performs facial recognition. Widely used in Brighton, where the local government strongly pressures venues into adopting it, though places in London also do this. Identities of customers and logs of their entries may be automatically shared with police. (source)
